Bifrons is a great earl that is included in a multitude of grimoires including The Lesser Key of Solomon and the Pseudomonarchia Daemonum, and has a different number of legions according to each. According to both, he first appears as a monster before slowly transforming into a man. He is a great teacher and a genius in astrology, geometry, sciences, and the arts. Peculiarly, he also stalks graveyards where he lights the candles and switches the corpses around.
Bifrons translated from Latin translates to "two faces" which possibly derives from his transformation from monster to man.
